Knox Mitsubishi

I purchased a 2015 Nissan X-trail T32 through this dealership back in November 2022 and had nothing but problems with the car and still am . Dealing with the staff from this dealership all I can say is incompetent and just greedy to make a sale. I had it for 2 days before the patch up job their mechanic workshop had tried to cover up where the front of the right hand side of the car had been siliconed to keep it holding together and then when it started to peal and I contacted Knox they then told me it had been involved in a minor accident with the previous owner which was never disclosed to me when I was looking at the car and I had asked that question . So then it had to be sent to an actual panel shop to be fixed correctly and I didn’t have my car again for 2 weeks. Then after getting it back for 3 weeks in December all of the hazard dash lights kept coming up along with the engine light and a flashing of ‘system failure’ , my cruise control stopped working and I couldn’t drive my car . I then contacted Knox again where they weren’t easy to deal with at all and I had to send it to Nissan to be looked at correctly and then to be told by Nissan that the Transmission had to be replaced mind you this all happened after I had only gotten the car on the 24th of November . When speaking to the manager at Knox dealership he asked me on the phone what I wanted to do regarding the car in his words “ get it fixed or get a different car from them at the same value “ I then responded no your team should of looked over and serviced the car properly before I picked it up “ . Nissan then had to send my car is a specialised transmission shop where they re conditioned it , once again didn’t have my car again until after January even though these were all still covered under warranty I can say I will NEVER go through Knox again !! My own mechanic found multiple problems that were avoided or just a failure on Knox’s mechanics behalf that weren’t looked at before me picking the car up , for example the car has an auto on / off setting and they didn’t even have the right battery in the car . when purchasing this car as I felt like they had taken advantage of me being a female and I have spent up to thousands of dollars since fixing problems after problems on this car.

We just placed an order for a Mitsubishi outlander from Mitsubishi Knox. If you plan to visit this car dealership I highly recommend you see Kevin Smaller. Kevin is extremely reliable and very knowledgeable about Mitsubishi cars. Most importantly he conducts himself with integrity and honesty. There is a lot of misleading information from my experience. I have bought a car from them which when I buy that they have claimed is a used demo car. Later on I went to a service department they say it’s a second hand car . Which I would not eligible for 10 year warranty and also no cap price for service . Apart from that when we want the car be ready to collect from the first day , it has been very dramatic, we asked them to install a roof rack for us and told us it’s ready to collect . We went there and collect car , they have told us it’s wrong size and we have go back waiting again. Second time , we went to pick up they said do you guys need support band to hold the weight , they have never told us from the start and we have asked and mention very clearly what do we need from the roof rack to work like and the outcome has been not we have expected . When we bought the car they will say everything is yes yes yes, and then after you buying the car will say no no no . They playing wording games with you. Don’t buy from them , or you can find a really good experience from them.

This was my first time purchasing a brand new car and the experience I had from all parties was great. I flew from Hunter Valley NSW and drove home 11 hours for this car because they were the only dealership with exactly what I wanted… without a wait ! Thank you, a very happy customer
